LATER may be a concept that's even easier for your learner to figure out than NOW, the idea that NOW is great to pair with during modeling.
By responding to your learner's requests to go for a walk by saying "we will go later," and then subsequently going for the walk, your learner can begin to clue in to how this word works.
An activity will happen, but not for some time.
It's possible that learners will take it to mean "calm down"
